Cross Stitch Artwork by Rene Rockey

Irene's interest in cross-stitch was rekindled some six or seven years ago, and she now finds it a relaxing pastime.
Beginning with cards, bookmarks and other small items, with the encouragement of others in the village Stitch & Knit group she has progressed to bigger works, which can take up to two years to complete; hence the wish to work purely for pleasure, without taking commissions.
All the work shown here is from easily available kits, and there is now a surprisingly wide range of styles available.
Her present work-in-progress is a set of three Japanese scenes.
